• The 8th grade Math Collaborative Action Network was established to address math performance in District 5.

• HREP partnered with Legacy Pathways to provide professional development for staff in a pilot math program at New Design Middle School.

• Legacy Pathways implemented the "Lab Day" model which focuses on student-centered learning and the development of critical thinking skills

​

• 51% of the students indicated that the "Lab Day" model improved their ability to all about how to solve math problems with their peers.​
