OUR IMPACT  

College Career & Readiness

  • The College and Career Readiness Index, for District 5 high schools that participated in the HREP-SUNY Old Westbury Early College High School Partnership increased from 19.5% (2016) to 48.8% (2020) which is an increase of 156.8%

​

  • The Early College High School Program currently has an enrollment of 130 students for the spring 2021 semester, which is an increase of 63.9% when compared to the number of students enrolled in courses for the fall 2020 semester.

​

  • A total of 2,042 college credits were earned by high school students participating in ECHS (2017-2020).

Parent Engagement 

  • 50% of the parents who participated in a 10-week Parenting Journey program became active parent leaders in their school district

​

  • 25% of the parents who participated and completed HREP’s Parenting Journey Series became active PTA members and/or joined District 5’s Community Education Council.

Community Involvement 

  • HREP in collaboration with District 5 Superintendent's Office, CEC District 5, and the Food Bank of New York sponsored a pop-up pantry that provided 
fresh produce and food for 1,200 families.

​

  • $72,600 was raised to support ExpandEdLearningTime Programs in an elementary and secondary school in District 5
